ABOUT US AND OUR PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Our Mission
The mission of Little Blossom Montessori School is to provide both creative and stimulating intellectual, artistic, and developmental experiences for the preschool, and kindergarten child. Utilizing the philosophy and methodology of Maria Montessori, Little Blossom Montessori strives to provide a rich environment for learning that fosters total growth and enthusiasm for lifelong learning in each child.
Little Blossom Montessori School, established in 2008, provides needed “prepared environment" essential to Montessori education. This classroom environment is comprised of six interrelated areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, geography and Science. We also provide a full range of cultural experiences including drama, music, poetry, cooking, art, storytelling, and field trips complement the daily routine.
Children are free to talk and move around, are stimulated by purposeful learning activities of their own choosing, can discover and correct their own errors, and are treated with respect and trust. All these factors help the children to develop an inner discipline and a sense of responsibility. Little Blossom Montessori school strives to instill in each child a sense of acceptance and understanding through our diverse learning environment.
The Inspiration behind Little Blossom Montessori School
After working as a Montessori directress, I wanted to develop a reputed Montessori school in the Chicago suburbs to serve my community with the Montessori education I have, and to teach the little ones the Montessori way of learning. In 2008 I founded Little Blossom Montessori School. I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing and guidance in the early ages itself so that they can develop their imaginations. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At Little Blossom Montessori School, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We work with the children every day. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun!
At Little Blossom Montessori School, we make sure that every child is involved in stimulating Montessori preschool activities every day. And of course, we make sure they have fun. Children learn best when they are having fun. At Little Blossom Montessori School we recognize that you have a difficult schedule and support parents the best we can. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands.
